This flow switch is part of the salt system!
If water is not flowing through the pipes or not enough water is flowing through the pipes, harmful gases can build up inside the battery, creating pressure that can eventually burst or melt the battery and pipes. The flow switch is designed to prevent this from happening by allowing the unit to produce chlorine gas only when sufficient water flow is detected in the pipes.
For best results, the flow switch should be installed correctly: The flow switch MSUT is installed before the electrolyser. Make sure no other components are installed between it and the cell. The flow switch should be installed horizontally, not upside down. It must be positioned as indicated by the arrow label affixed to it, which indicates the direction of water flow through the tee. Check that the glue or cleaning substance is not directly touching the paddle inside the flow switch as this may cause it to stick.
Additionally, the system should be installed in parallel with the circulation pump for additional protection of the equipment.
