FlowBot® FB2115 VSP
Compared with Flobot®FB2115 VSP, traditional single-speed pumps run continuously at maximum load, resulting in low efficiency and high operating costs. The reduced speed will reduce the water circulation speed, thereby reducing the pressure during the entire installation process, such as filters, sanitization and plumbing. It reduces the loss factor and ultimately saves the house owner’s money.

To follow up, there are three main types of pumps in the pool space, single speed, two speed pump and variable speed pumps. The difference between the three is that variable speed pumps allow you to adjust the flow rate of water, pool working time through the circulation system, while single speed pumps and two speed pump only have one or two speed.
With a variable speed pump a pool owner can circulate their water at lower flow rates for a more prolonged period of the day without added energy consumption.
And now there is new regulation on the variable speed pump by DOE in US. “The compliance date for DPPP motors must be July 19, 2021 to align with the compliance date for DPPPs. Aligning the compliance dates is essential in order to prevent a loophole for replacement motors and to avoid the need for manufacturers to convert their product lines twice, which would significantly increase their costs and, in turn, costs for consumers.” It is described in the federal register.
Variable speed pump is highly recommended for you to save energy and cost, and in US, Asia, Europe, pool distributors will choose the variable speed pump.
